Mayans MC concluded its five-season run with a brutal extended finale that left fans in shock. The finale featured shocking ends for many of its beloved characters, leaving viewers questioning who lived, who died, and what the finale truly meant.

At the start of the episode, EZ rallied the Mayans to wage war against the Sons of Anarchy, seeking revenge for his father’s death. In a shocking turn of events, EZ personally executed Isaac and desecrated his body as an act of vengeance.
In the meantime, Emily’s long-planned strategy finally came to fruition as she took the lives of Miguel and his bodyguard, seeking retribution for her sister’s murder. To add to the chaos, Emily cleverly staged the murders to appear as a murder-suicide, ensuring the police wouldn’t suspect her involvement. With Miguel out of the picture, federal attorney Devlin’s corruption case against Potter fell apart, as higher-ups prioritized avoiding a gang war over prosecuting a corrupt attorney.
Downer had been assigned to eliminate Celio, but instead, she turned against him and stabbed him. Meanwhile, Alvarez’s wife gave birth, and Leti embarked on a mission to eliminate every member of the Mayans she could find.
How did Mayans MC end?
In the final scene, EZ presided over a gang meeting, during which Nestor earned a promotion to full member. However, the meeting took an unexpected turn when Bishop discovered EZ’s secret dealings with the feds. In order to keep EZ’s betrayal under wraps, Bishop demanded that EZ proves Angel’s innocence by having him use a knife on his own brother. Tearfully, EZ assured Angel that it was okay and urged him to “tell your son about me.” With a literal gun to his head, Angel stabbed EZ, and the other Mayans followed suit in a Shakespearean fashion.
To make matters worse, while EZ’s trailer, Sofia was about to reveal her pregnancy to him when Bottles arrived with a rifle, and gunshots echoed in the background. Leti stumbled upon Sally’s abandoned dog and returned to the Broken Saints club to assist in its reconstruction.
The final scenes depicted Bishop as the new leader of the Mayans, only to have Potter and his agents launch a raid on their headquarters, resulting in a volley of gunshots. The fate of the characters remained uncertain as the mayhem unfolded. “The levee will hold,” mused Potter.
The series concluded with a powerful image of Angel sitting by the ocean, holding his son, and his Mayans back tattoo concealed, symbolizing his escape from that life.
Thus, Mayans MC came to a dark and gruesome conclusion that avid fans of the series might have anticipated.
