The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that the 2nd and 3rd of December 2024 will be official paid holidays for all private sector employees in the UAE to celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad( UAE National Day).
This decision aligns with the Cabinet’s resolution on approved public holidays for both the public and private sectors in 2024. The move aims to allow employees to spend quality time with their families and friends during the festive occasion.
The UAE government has consistently prioritized the well-being of its citizens and residents, and this holiday declaration is further evidence of its commitment to work-life balance and employee satisfaction.
The announcement has been well-received by the private sector, with many businesses planning special events and activities to mark the occasion. As the UAE continues to evolve as a global hub, such initiatives contribute to its reputation as a dynamic and people-centric nation.
