UAE Weather Update: Dusty Conditions in Dubai, Cloudy Skies and Rain Expected in Fujairah, Al Ain, and Abu Dhabi

Residents of the UAE should prepare for dusty weather conditions accompanied by a forecast of rain in certain parts of the country on Friday.

As per the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the skies across the UAE are predicted to be a mix of sunny and partly cloudy. During the morning, low clouds are anticipated to form over the eastern coast in Fujairah.

Additionally, rain-bearing clouds are expected to develop by the afternoon, moving eastward and southward, eventually extending over internal and western areas. Showers are likely to occur in various parts of Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain.

The NCM also indicates that the chances of showers will persist into Saturday.

Residents can anticipate strong winds blowing repeatedly at speeds ranging from 15 to 25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.

These winds are likely to carry dust and sand particles into the air, particularly as cloud activity increases, potentially leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

Motorists should exercise caution on the roads due to potential visibility challenges caused by the dust. Individuals prone to allergies are advised to take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors.

The maximum humidity level is projected to reach around 90 percent.

Typical temperatures for the region are expected to be in the high 30s, with maximum temperatures soaring to 48°C. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures could drop to 25°C.

Presently, Dubai’s temperature hovers around 29°C under mostly sunny skies.

Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are predicted to remain moderately calm during this period.
