Flying to the United Arab Emirates from the United States just got easier. Etihad Airways, one of the national airlines of the UAE, has announced a new service between Boston and Abu Dhabi, set to commence on March 31, 2024.
The airline will operate the service on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering four weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The journey, spanning 12 hours and 5 minutes, will depart from Boston Logan’s Terminal E and arrive at Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal 3. Travel + Leisure reported Economy fares starting at $572, and Business Fares starting at $5,725 for one-way service in early April 2024.
Business Class passengers can avail of upgrades to Choice or Choice Plus, which come with additional benefits such as the Etihad Chauffeur service, providing assistance on the ground at Abu Dhabi Airport.

With this new addition, Etihad Airways now operates in four US cities, including New York, Chicago, and Washington. The airline also serves Toronto, Canada. Etihad’s reputation for punctuality has been recognized, as it was recently ranked as the most punctual with on-time arrivals in the Middle East, according to data from the aviation analytics group, OAG.
Abu Dhabi, a vibrant destination in the UAE, is experiencing increasing tourist arrivals. In 2022, the city welcomed 18 million tourists, and the number is expected to grow to 22 million in 2023, as reported by Arabian Business.
