Saudi Arabia EVisa Application For Egyptian and UAE Residents

In a bid to facilitate travel, Saudi Arabia introduced the eVisa system, benefiting Egyptian and UAE residents. This electronic visa enables citizens from nearly 50 countries to explore Saudi Arabia for tourism purposes. Launched in 2019, the Saudi eVisa streamlines the visa application process, making it easier for foreign travelers to visit this diverse nation.

The Saudi eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of select countries to enter Saudi Arabia for tourism purposes. The eVisa offers the convenience of multiple entries, permitting travelers to visit the country multiple times within the validity period. Each entry allows for a 90-day stay, with a total of 180 days available throughout the eVisa’s validity of one year from the date of issue.

Saudi Arabia introduced the Cruise Tourist Visa, allowing travelers to visit the country’s ports as part of a cruise group. However, it’s important to note that this visa does not grant independent travel within Saudi Arabia beyond the designated ports of call. To obtain this visa, individuals often need to arrange a cruise package that includes Saudi Arabia as a destination and be part of an organized group. The visa application process is typically managed by the cruise line or its representatives.

For both Egyptian and UAE residents, certain requirements need to be fulfilled when applying for a Saudi eVisa. These include having a passport valid for at least six months from the intended date of entry, providing a current email address for receiving the eVisa, and paying the required eVisa fee using a valid debit or credit card.

Saudi Arabia offers various entry points for tourists, making it convenient for travelers to explore the country. Notable entry ports include King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) in Medina, King Fahd International Airport (DMM) in Dammam, and Abha International Airport (AHB) in Abha. Additionally, the King Fahd Causeway serves as a land border crossing between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

For Muslims, performing Umrah is a significant religious pilgrimage. Egyptian and UAE residents can apply for a Saudi Umrah Visa to undertake this spiritual journey to Mecca. While Egypt is not exempt from Saudi Arabia’s visa requirements, the Umrah Visa enables eligible individuals to perform Umrah pilgrimage. It’s important to note that the application process for this visa may differ from the eVisa process, often requiring applicants to visit an embassy or consulate in person.

The Saudi Arabia eVisa has transformed travel accessibility for tourists from various countries, including Egyptian and UAE residents. With the ease of online application and multiple entries, travelers can experience the rich culture and attractions of Saudi Arabia. Whether it’s for leisure, pilgrimage, or business, the Saudi eVisa simplifies the process of obtaining permission to enter the country. By adhering to the specified requirements and guidelines, travelers can embark on an unforgettable journey to Saudi Arabia.
